Copenhagen - Denmark's centre-left coalition could narrowly stay in power after the general election expected next year, according to a Gallup poll published yesterday.

The poll shows the centreleft coalition of the Social Democrat Prime Minister, Mr Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, and rightwing conservative liberal alliance level-pegging with 86 and 85 seats respectively in the 175seat parliament.
