Police have confirmed that the death of a young Gaelic footballer in Co Down appears to have been the result of an accident.

The body of Ronan Conlon (25), who played for Newry Shamrocks, was found in a field near Warrenpoint shortly after he was reported missing. A post-mortem established that he had died of a head injury.
