The RUC is investigating a petrol-bomb attack on a house in the Waterside area of Derry. A spokesman said two petrol bombs were thrown at the living-room window of a Catholic-owned house at Shearwater Way in the Loyalist Clooney Estate at 2 a.m. yesterday.
"The two adults and two children in the house were awakened by the noise of the petrolbombs hitting the window sill and they were able to put out the fire which, by good fortune, was largely confined to a window-box. No one was injured," said the spokesman.
