A man in his fifties has died in a road crash in Dublin.

A man in his fifties has died in a road crash in Dublin.

The 53-year-old pedestrian died after he was struck by a tax at Drimnagh Road at around 7pm yesterday evening.

Gardaí later named the man as Kevin McCann of Drimangh Road.

Gardaí from Sundrive Road are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 01 666600.
