A pedestrian who died after being struck by an articulated lorry in Dublin city centre yesterday afternoon was named last night as Ivor Walsh, of Kincora Avenue, Clontarf.

Mr Walsh, a single man in his thirties, was crossing Capel Street near Ormond Quay when, he was knocked down at 2.40 p.m. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mater Hospital.
