A pedestrian died in Co Derry last night after he was struck by a van.
Ivor Millen (51) from Macosquin, Coleraine, was killed as he was walking along the Strand Road, Coleraine, at about 7pm.
Attempts to revive Mr Millen failed, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the Causeway Hospital where a postmortem is to take place.
The PSNI has appealed for witnesses to the incident.
