Bogota - Colombia has agreed to demilitarise a swath of territory in the north where the National Liberation Army (ELN) operates, in a bid to push forward the peace process, ELN rebel leader, Mr Nicholas Rodriguez, said yesterday
The zone will cover areas of Antioquia and Bolivar provinces, Mr Rodriguez said at a press conference, and that "the nation's civil authorities, forces of the ELN guerrilla, and the communities would exist together."
