The Ulster Orchestra will join the tenor Luciano Pavarotti for a concert in the grounds of Stormont in September. Also accompanying Pavarotti on his only date in Ireland will be Italian soprano Carmela Remigio. Some 15,000 people are expected to attend the concert.
Pavarotti last performed in Belfast in 1963.
