ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has no plans to conduct a nuclear test and will not explode such a device unless threatened, Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto said yesterday.

"We have a clear policy about our peaceful nuclear programme and will stick to it unless threatened," the official Associated Press of Pakistan quoted her as telling reporters.
