Police in northern Ireland have described an assault in which two youths were covered in paint in Belfast as paramilitary.

The victims - aged 14 and 16 - were in a flat in the New Lodge area of Belfast last night when a number of masked men burst in.

They took the teenagers to an undisclosed location where they were covered in white paint. One suffered a cut to his hand.
