Ankara - Lawyers representing the Kurdish rebel leader, Mr Abdullah Ocalan, said yesterday their client's right to a defence was being threatened by "biased" coverage of the trial in the Turkish press.
"We see the slandering and distortion campaign against the lawyers just as we are preparing the essential defence as a sign that our right to defend will be obstructed," Mr Ocalan's lawyers said.
