Berlin - German industry has welcomed a US court decision to throw out lawsuits filed by Nazi-era forced labourers but says it is not enough for compensation payments to begin, writes Derek Scally.

The spokesman for the German Nazi Labour Foundation said dozens of other lawsuits must be dismissed before they will hand over their half of a £4 billion compensation fund.
