Arrangements are being put in place to resume trade in live poultry and hatching eggs between Northern Ireland and the Republic, according to the Department of Agriculture for Northern Ireland.

Trade was stopped after an outbreak of Newcastle disease in poultry farms in Border areas following the import of poultry from the North.
