Irish-based security, recruitment and aviation services group Newcourt told shareholders today that it was “satisfied” with the company’s performance this year.

In a statement released before its agm in Dublin's Conrad Hotel, Newcourt said revenues in 2007 had risen 42 per cent to €165.9 million while pre-tax profits grew by 21 per cent to €9.3 million.

Ted O'Neill, Newcourt CEO, said the performance was based on strong organic growth across all businesses last year.

Its student accommodation division - Ely Property - was the strongest performer last year and reported a 61 per cent increase in trading profits to €4.8 million.

The company will report half-year results on September 2nd.
