The Irish National Stud Company has agreed a settlement of injunction proceedings by one of its managers who alleges she was bullied and sexually assaulted by former chief executive John Clarke after ending an alleged affair with him. Full hearing of the matter could be heard by the High Court in June or July.

Ms Justice Mary Laffoy had last Friday begun hearing an application by Julie Lynch, stallions nominations manager with the company, for an order restraining it from placing her on medical leave or having to vacate the house where she lives, provided as part of her job.
