Phnom Penh - A Cambodian man was so infuriated when he came home and found his wife out and no lunch on the table that he set fire to the family house and burnt it to the ground, a newspaper reported yesterday.
The 37-year-old husband burned the house to teach his wife a lesson, then turned himself in to police in the northern province of Siem Reap after the house burned down.
The man was being temporarily detained in the local jail where he was at least assured of regular meals, the newspaper said.
