The Moriarty (Payments to Politicians) tribunal adjourned yesterday after Mr Jerry Healy SC, for the tribunal, said an order for the discovery of documents, which it was intended would be made, might not be necessary as the documents might be handed over by consent.
The tribunal was adjourned until tomorrow morning by which time, Mr Healy said, it would be known whether the order would be necessary. He also said that tomorrow the date for the renewed hearing of evidence could be given.
