Breda Waters (28) and Des Kelly (24) were shot dead at a house in O’Malley Park, Limerick, on January 9th last.

Thomas Stewart (27) of The Cedars, Briarfield, Castletroy, Limerick, and Patrick O’Brien (31) of Glanntan, Golf Links Road, Castletroy, are charged with their murders.

Insp Derek Smart told Limerick District Court yesterday that the files for both men are nearing completion and requested an adjournment of two weeks to complete and submit the files to the DPP.
