Ulster prop Rod Moore will make his debut for the province in Friday night's Celtic League opener against the Swansea/Neath Ospreys.

The Australian, on a short-term contract at Ravenhill as cover for the injured Robbie Kempson, trained with his new teammates for the first time this morning and has been included in the starting XV for the trip to Wales.

There is also a start for Irish second row Gary Longwell and World Cup hopefuls Neil Doak and Jonathon Bell. Hooker Paul Shields, still in the frame for the Irish squad, must contend with a place on the bench but Ulster coach Alan Solomons has been assured by Eddie O'Sullivan his decision will have no bearing on Shields' World Cup prospects.
