The Special Criminal Court has fixed February 5th next year for the trial of two Co Kildare men. Mr Laurence Keane (22), William Street, Athy, and Mr Stephen O'Rourke (22), Carbery Park, Athy, are charged with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself the Irish Republican Army, otherwise ╙glaigh na h╔ireann, last July 24th. Both were remanded on bail until February 5th.
