The ISEQ index of shares was trading 21 points up at 6,256.21 late this afternoon after a relatively quiet day’s trading.
AIB was up 22 cents at euro 12.59 while Bank of Ireland was down 2 cents euro 10.95. Irish Life and Permanent was 18 cents at euro 13.55.
Eircom remained relatively unchanged at euro 1.26, 1 cent down on the day.
Riverdeep, the Irish educational software firm, was 10 cents down at euro 5.25 after raising $125m through the placement of 29 million shares.
