A man (26) remains in a critical condition in hospital after being assaulted in a Dublin city centre hotel yesterday morning.
It is understood the victim was attacked by a number of men in the Abbey Hotel in Middle Abbey Street at around 2.00am and received serious head injuries.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition remains critical.
There were no arrests. Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the attack to contact them.
