A young man has been stabbed to death in a busy Newry street this afternoon.
Police say the man, thought to be 18 years old, was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
The incident occurred on Canal Street Newry at around 12.30. Police say they are following "definite lines of inquiry" but do not suspect a sectarian motive.
