ONE man was killed and six others injured in a four car crash on the main Cork to Mallow road yesterday. The dead man was named by gardai in Cork as Mr Patrick Corcoran (35), from Gurranabraher in Cork city.
He was brought to Cork University Hospital with another man, who was in a serious condition, and two of the other injured men. Three women with minor injuries were being treated in Mallow General Hospital. All are from the Mallow area.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
