A man in his twenties was critically injured when his car spun out of control at Blackwood Lane, Malahide, shortly before 1 o'clock this morning. An older man also travelling in the vehicle was not seriously injured. They were both being treated at Beaumont hospital early this morning.
In Co Limerick, three youths were taken to hospital after their car hit a wall early yesterday. The accident happened at Clarina Cross on the main Limerick-Foynes road.
A spokesperson for Limerick Regional Hospital said yesterday evening that two of the youths were in intensive care and the third was stable.
