A man was recovering in hospital today after being shot in the leg in a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Antrim.
The 30-year-old man was attacked and shot in the Ballyronan Park area in Newtownabbey shortly before 11pm last night.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "He is being treated in hospital for his injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening at this stage."
Detectives in Newtownabbey appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or who can assist them to contact Newtownabbey police station.
