A man is recovering in hospital today after a gang of men stormed and attacked a house in Co Antrim last night.
The incident happened in Cairngorm Drive in Larne at around midnight. The man (22) suffered serious head injuries but is said to be in a stable condition.
It is understood nobody else was hurt in the attack.
Meanwhile a 27-year-old man is in critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast after an assault last night.
The attack happened at about 9.15pm outside City Hall when he was set upon by two people.
Police have arrested a 21-year-old man.
