A man as been arrested after two people were stabbed in Co Down.
A 33-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy sustained wounds to the abdomen following the altercation on Kircubbin’s main street at 1.45am. They were taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A 19-year-old woman was also punched in the face during the incident.
The 45-year-old man arrested following the assaults remained in custody for questioning.
