A Dublin man who stabbed a drug addict to death in September 1998 has been convicted of manslaughter by a jury at the Central Criminal Court. William Duffy (37) was remanded in custody for sentencing. The court had heard Duffy stabbed Mr Paul Rooney (21) 13 times in his home in Tallaght, Co Dublin, after Mr Rooney pushed Duffy's wife and demanded she give him heroin substitute she had been prescribed.
