Man freed over Limerick fatal stabbing

A man (25) who was arrested over a fatal stabbing in Limerick early this morning has been released without charge.

A man (25) who was arrested over a fatal stabbing in Limerick early this morning has been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Stephen O'Grady (45) of Lenihan Avenue was found with several stab wounds at the house in the Prospect area of the city at around 2am.

He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
