A 37-year-old man is due to appear before Dublin District Court this morning charged in connection with an alleged assault which occurred in 2006.
The Niger national was arrested on Thursday in Dublin as part of an investigation into the alleged assault on a 26-year-old woman.
A second man, a 44-year-old Nigerian national was arrested yesterday and is currently being held a Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
