Man for court over 2007 Kerry murder

A man is due in court today charged in connection with a murder in Co Kerry last year.

A man is due in court today charged in connection with a murder in Co Kerry last year.

James Brazier (30), originally from Birmingham, died in Kerry General Hospital after being stabbed in a house in Pinewood Estate in Killarney on April 15th, 2007.

The  man is due to be brought before Kenmare District Court today.

Another man, Shane O'Riordan (18) of  Arbutus Grove, was remanded in custody yesterday morning when he appeared in Killarney courthouse charged with Mr Brazier's murder.

Mr O'Riordan also faces a charge of assault causing harm to Graham Geasley at Chapel Lane, on December 16th, 2006.

Judge James O'Connor remanded Mr O'Riordan in custody on both matters to appear at Tralee District Court on April 9th.
