A man died and another was seriously injured in a crash between a jet ski and a motor boat off the coast of Cork last night.
The accident happened at around 8.30pm in Youghal estuary, and involved three people, one escaping without injury.
A coastguard helicopter flew to the scene form Waterford, and the Youghal Coast Guard Unit and an RNLI lifeboat were also called out.

The injured man was being taken to Cork University Hopsital last night, but his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The rapid growth of marine leisure in recent years has increased pressure on emergency services and water safety personnel.
The latest accident comes in the wake of warnings by the Irish Water Safety Council calling for vigilence by the public.
