A man died after a car he had taken from its owner crashed on Dublin's Long Mile Road early on Sunday. Gardai said the man was picked up on the Long Mile Road by a male driver and they went to the driver's home. The hitchhiker later drove off in the car and crashed it not far from the owner's home. The dead man was in his 30s. Gardai have not released his name.
