Garda∅ have launched investigations into three separate incidents over the weekend in which one man died and two others were injured, one critically. A man in his 40s died after being stabbed in Jobstown, Tallaght, Co Dublin. The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. yesterday at Bawnlee Drive. The victim was taken to Tallaght general hospital where he later died. He was last night named as Mr Glen Dunne from Collins Drive, Finglas, North Dublin. Three men in their 20s were arrested yesterday. One was last night charged in connection with Mr Dunne's death and will appear at Tallaght District Court this morning. Meanwhile, in Cork, detectives have appealed for witnesses to an attack outside a city centre nightclub in which a 32-year-old man was critically injured after being hit with a broken bottle outside Bee Gee's nightclub on Leitrim Street, shortly after 3 a.m. He was rushed to University College Hospital Cork, where his condition was described as "critical but stable".

In D·n Laoghaire a 28-year-old man underwent emergency surgery on Saturday for 25 stab wounds after a row at a caravan on the west pier. He is in a stable condition.
