A father of three charged with possession of ecstasy and cannabis worth nearly £4 million had his case adjourned at Drogheda District Court yesterday. Mr Thomas Clarke (37), of St Oliver's Park, Carlingford, Co Louth, had been remanded in custody from a special sitting of Dunleer District Court on Monday evening.

He is pleading not guilty to possession of ecstasy and cannabis resin seized by gardai at Gormanstown, Co Meath, last April 11th. Judge Brennan adjourned the case to the court sitting of May 1st next.
