A man was charged at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday with possessing two hand guns and £200,000 worth of drugs in east Belfast earlier this week. Mr Robert Young (36), Rathgill Park, Bangor, Co Down, was arrested after police found 20 kg of cannabis at Glenlea Park on Monday.
He was charged with unlawfully possessing the cannabis with intent to supply. He was also charged with possessing two semi-automatic pistols and 134 rounds of ammunition with intent to endanger life. He was remanded in custody to the Maze Court on February 23rd.
