A Cork man admitted nine offences yesterday of rape and sexual assault of a girl and her brother which started when they were aged between five and six.
The 34-year-old employed man was remanded on continuing bail and his case will be mentioned again at the Central Criminal Court on May 28th next, when a date will be fixed for the sentence hearing.
Mr Justice Flood sought the preparation of victim impact reports on the girl, who is now aged 10, and her eight-year-old brother. He also requested a probation report on the defendant.
