A Clondalkin man appeared in Kilmainham District Court charged with a syringe robbery. Mr Darren Canning (20), of Harelawn Green, Clondalkin, is charged with possession of a syringe and with using it to rob a man of a jacket and cash worth £160 at Ballyowen Lane, Lucan on June 7th last. Det Garda Seamus Boyle served him with a book of evidence. He was remanded to May 13th for submissions on the book.
