A male pedestrian was killed early this morning after being hit by a car in Blackrock, Co Dublin.
The incident happened at about 4.30am this morning at the White's Cross junction on the N11.
The man (36) was taken to St Vincent's hospital where he later died. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
A section of the N11 southbound was closed for some time this morning to allow a technical examination to take place.
