Three Limerick men were further remanded in custody at Limerick District Court yesterday arising out of charges of causing criminal damage to the headstone on the grave of Det Garda Jerry McCabe at Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

Mr James Dundon (21), unemployed of O'Malley Park, Southill, is charged with damaging the headstone on January 8/9th and on January 11/12th.

The other two defendants, Mr Melvin McNamara (17), O'Malley Park, Southill, Mr Mark Connery (24), also of O'Malley Park, are charged on one count of causing malicious damage to the headstone on January 11/12th.
