The Leixlip Confey station on the Maynooth suburban route which closed from last Saturday will reopen on Tuesday, August 3rd, Iarnrod Eireann has announced.
As part of upgrading of the Maynooth service, the platform at the station is being extended.
In a statement Iarnrod Eireann suggested that passengers use Leixlip Louisa Bridge station in the interim. A bus service will link River Forest car-park to Louisa Bridge station, morning and evening, Monday to Friday.
The morning service will be at 6.45 a.m. to Louisa Bridge connecting to the 6.52 a.m. from Maynooth; 7.25 a.m. to Louisa Bridge connecting to the 7.37 a.m. from Maynooth; and 7.50 a.m. to Louisa Bridge connecting to the 8 a.m. from Maynooth. The evening service will be at 6 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. from Louisa Bridge to Confey.
