Legionnaire's Disease is a pneumonia caused by a group of bacteria belonging to the genus Legionella.

These bacteria are commonly found in man-made water distribution systems, including the water supply of any building as well as spas and jacuzzis.

The bacteria multiply at temperatures of between 20 and 45 degrees, and usually in water that has been left to stagnate.

It is not contagious.
