Knock international airport and Panorama Holidays are to operateskiing holiday packages for the first time.
The packages will run from Knock to Andorra in December 2004 and January 2005.
The chief executive of Knock airport, Mr Liam Scollan, said he was delighted to be able to offer the package and anticipates a strong uptake from customers.
"From our own research we know that many people from around the region want to go winter skiing and would much prefer the convenience of travelling out of Knock rather than Dublin," he said.
"As Ireland's biggest ski operator we are always looking to expand and grow and Knock International Airport has provided the perfect opportunity to do so," Mr Niall McDonnell, managing director of Panorama Holidays said.
The packages will go on sale next Tuesday morning through all local travel agents.
