The 34-year-old man who murdered his infant daughter and then killed himself has been cremated. George McGloin stabbed his daughter Robin Leahy (2) at Callan, Co Kilkenny, on November 11th. He then killed himself.
The only person who attended the service at Newlands crematorium, Dublin, was his father, Mr George McGloin snr who travelled from Canada to identify his son's remains at Waterford Regional Hospital and bring his ashes back to Ontario.
