Kerry manager Pat O'Shea has made three changes ahead of Sunday's the Munster football final against Cork.
Suspended captain Paul Galvin and the injured Declan O'Sullivan have been replaced in the half forward line by Sean O'Sullivan and Donncha Walsh, while Killian Young has been drafted in at left wing back instead of Tommy Griffin.
Meanwhile, in his first selection as Waterford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has confirmed the rumours and installed Ken McGrath at full back ahead of Saturday's qualifier against Antrim.
It is one of three changes to the backline that was demolished by Clare in the Munster first round last month.
McGrath, who has recovered from injury, replaces Kevin Moran, while fit-again Eoin Murphy starts at corner in place of Aidan Kearney.
Brian Phelan drops to allow Shane O'Sullivan start at wing back and veteran Tony Browne returns to the centre back position.
Waterford will also have Eoin Kelly back at right wing forward.
Meanwhile, Ger Farragher replaces the injured Eugene Cloonan in the Galway team for Saturday's hurling qualifier against Laois, in the only change to the side that beat Antrim by 26 points last time out.
