Blackburn manager Graeme Souness's transfer funds could be boosted further by the sale of goalkeeper Alan Kelly, who, according the club website, is considering a move to relegated Coventry.

Rovers would be willing to listen to offers for the Irish international keeper who was third choice behind Brad Friedel and John Filan last season.

Souness has a reported £20 million sterling in the kitty for new players, and he has already launched a summer spending spree by capturing top Italian target Corrado Grabbi for £7 million.

The 25-year-old Ternana striker, also being tracked by Italian Serie A side's Fiorentina and Udinese, has opted for Lancashire after being impressed by the set-up at Ewood Park.

Grabbi, who has signed a four-year deal, is the first of a string of expected new arrivals at Rovers who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the top flight.

Grabbi will link up with Blackburn again next month at the start of pre-season training.
