Zambia said yesterday that a summit to revive a peace accord for the Democratic Republic of Congo had been postponed to Thursday because the Rwandan President, Mr Paul Kagame, had been unable to come to Lusaka today.
"The summit is on Thursday. We hope all the signatories to the Lusaka agreement can attend," the Presidential Affairs Minister, Mr Eric Silwamba, said.
"We still hope he [Mr Kagame] can come."
Mr Kagame told reporters in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, on Sunday that he could not travel to Lusaka.
