The jury in the trial of a Dublin publican charged with the murder of his wife and a baby girl was sent away again yesterday as legal discussion continued in their absence.

Mr Justice Carney told the jurors to return to the Central Criminal Court on Monday to resume hearing the trial of Mr Francis McCann (36), who has denied the murder of his wife Esther (36) and an 18 month old baby at their home at Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham, Dublin, on September 4th, 1992.
