The High Court yesterday fixed a date for the hearing of a case which has temporarily prevented bank documents affecting a building company, its director and his wife, being produced to the Flood planning tribunal.

Mr Justice Geoghegan was anxious to fix the earliest date possible for the hearing of the action taken by Bovale Developments, a company director, Mr Michael Bailey, and his wife against the tribunal.

He said the matter could end up in another court and he was anxious that it be heard before the High Court as soon as possible. He fixed April 21st as the hearing date.

Last month the High Court granted a temporary order to Bovale and the Baileys restraining Bank of Ireland from handing over to the tribunal any documents or records affecting the company or the Baileys.
